Almost Synchro Meets Bollywood
This photograph was taken by Paul Blakemore at Good Grief Weston, a festival we held with Super Culture as part of an AHRC-funded project on health inequities in coastal communities. Find out more about this project: https://wsmcommunity.blogs.bristol.ac.uk/
Through the festival, Almost Synchro worked with Weston’s community to launch ‘Super Synchro’, an outdoor synchronised swimming group at Weston’s Marine lake. It is still running, connecting people around the ocean and supporting well-being.
We have recently started a new project building on previous work around coastal communities (with teams in the SE and NW): https://www.bristol.ac.uk/primaryhealthcare/news/2024/national-partnership-to-tackle-health-inequalities-.html
